Help that fits a small office

I work with small offices in and around Colorado Springs, usually fewer than 25 people. Website and cloud projects I can take on from anywhere.

Care plans

Regular attention, so small problems stay small

Most small offices only call for help when something breaks, and by then it has already cost a day of work. A care plan puts your technology on a schedule: problems get caught early, renewals never sneak up on you, and when you do need help fast, the person answering already knows your setup.

Priced after a walkthrough of your office.

What's included

  • Regular check-ups, remote or on site, to apply updates and catch problems early
  • A look at your backups with a test restore, so you know they work, and a plan if you have none
  • Security basics reviewed: sign-in protection, admin accounts and who has access to what
  • Domains, certificates, licenses and warranties tracked, with a heads-up before they lapse
  • A short review each quarter of what is aging and what to budget for
  • Priority response, usually the same day, and a lower hourly rate for anything beyond the plan

Website updates

A website that works as hard as you do

Your website is often the first impression a customer gets. A dated site that is slow or hard to use on a phone sends people to a competitor, ranks lower in search, and old website software is a common way in for attackers.

Quoted per project.

What's included

  • A modern design that works on phones, tablets and computers
  • Older sites rebuilt on current, supported software
  • Your content, links and search rankings carried over
  • Secure, low-maintenance hosting in an account you own
  • Search basics and accessibility built in

Modernization

Replace aging systems on your schedule, not in an emergency

Old servers and software keep running right up until they don't. Once they stop getting security updates they become a quiet risk, and replacing them in a hurry after a failure costs far more than replacing them on a plan you chose.

Scoped and quoted in stages.

What's included

  • A plain review of what you have, what is at risk and what can wait
  • Aging servers and software replaced, or moved to the cloud where it makes sense
  • Older custom business applications rebuilt on current, supported technology
  • Changes planned in stages around your busy times, so work keeps moving
  • Documentation you keep, so nobody starts from scratch next time

Setup and moving projects

Set up once and set up right

Email, networks and servers that were set up in a hurry cause trouble for years: lost messages, Wi-Fi dead spots, and the one password only a former employee knew. Doing it properly once costs less than cleaning it up later.

Scoped and quoted up front.

What's included

  • Business email and file sharing set up securely, with training for your team
  • Moving email, files and domains to a new provider without losing anything
  • Office servers and computer replacements, planned around your hours
  • Networks and Wi-Fi that cover the whole building
  • Email settings cleaned up so your messages land in the inbox, not in spam
